J. S. Bach – "Arioso" – Bass Viol (Intermediate)


Bach never actually called this tune "Arioso" (see the preface of our edition).  This chestnut of baroque music has been arranged for virtually every other instrument.  Now, FINALLY, we have it for viola da gamba with keyboard (organ, harpsichord, or possibly lute). 
 
This version is the well-known Adagio from BWV 156.  For advanced players, we also offer an edition of the highly ornamented version from BWV 1056.  Click Here for the advanced version.

Schubert "Litenai" – Cello & Piano [Duo]

Unlike most modern arrangements for cello with piano, this version is a duo featuring both instruments. The melody of the middle verse is given to the piano while the cello accompanies.
